About Us

The key aim of our charity BrainHelp is to open Scotland's first UK Drop-In Neurocare Centre.

Though the success of our website www.brainhelp.co.uk   has gained national recognition and won me prestigious awards for contribution in this field, I am painfully aware that the acute shortage of aftercare facilities for brain injured sufferers and there carers throughout Scotland cannot be compensated by a website, no matter how successful it is operated, therefore my colleagues and I have instituted the charity 'Brain Help'

We combine the highest levels of professionalism and quality of exceptional contact centre and integrated fulfilment services with a mission and ethos that reflects our not-for-profit objectives of funding the establishment of 'Drop-In Neurocare Centres' throughout the UK.

These 'Drop-In' centres will be designed to offer Brain Haemorrhage, Brain Cancer, Traumatic Brain Injury, Epilepsy victims, there friends, families and carers specialized aftercare advice and rehabilitation facilities, regardless of ethnical, racial, cultural, age or financial background, with the first of these centres being earmarked for the Aberdeen area. Each centre will be staffed by qualified medical and advisory personnel who will offer a range of benefits such as Information library, emotional support, benefit advice, relaxation therapies, meeting rooms, internet training centres, acupuncture treatment, massage and other services essential to the rehabilitation process. The first one is planed to be located in Aberdeen.

These are a prime example in cancer care.  http://www.maggiescentres.org/
